McNair Scholars Program accepting applications

The Ronald E. McNair Scholars Program at Portland State University is accepting applications for the 2008-09 program year. The Ronald E. McNair Program works with motivated and talented undergraduates who want to pursue PhDs.

Women Traveling Solo Workshop - May 6

This workshop is conducted by veteran solo female travelers and is a wonderful way to connect with other like-minded women. Participants will learn special tips on traveling alone, safely and enjoyably. Resources on budgeting, accommodations, safety, language and cultural customs will be covered.

All-Women's Day Hike - May 10

Escape the stress of midterms and relax on a day hike along the central Oregon coast. Get outside and experience the terrific views and beautiful forests of the central Oregon coast. This hike is for all self-identified women and is beginner friendly.

The She Sheet

The She Sheet is the feminist voice for Portland State University’s students. What began as a newsletter for interested parties has grow into a blog and internet magazine portal to give voice to women and feminists at Portland State and around the world. The She Sheet is staffed by students and run out of the Women’s Resource Center.
